Video Story Telling

Video storying telling the the classroom could be something that is very useful for students to do. I think in my classroom I personally won't do much of it for the students but I think that if the students did it to report on a project it could be good and also use integration very well. I like this Assignment because it allows students to be creative. Many events and people have changed the world, I chose to make a video over 9-11 and the war in Iraq because it was a major change that happened here in the U.S. but also effects others too. video movie maker

This was the first time that I have ever used any type of movie maker and I really thought that it would be a lot harder than it was. I didnt realize how fast and easy it actually was to make a movie. I think that this is a good tool to use in my classroom. It would make lessons fun and more interesting for my students. Digital Storytelling Project

This was the first time I have used Windows Movie Maker so it took me a little while to get used to it and understand what all it could do. It wasn't very difficult to put slides together; it was actually easier than I expected. But one thing I did have trouble with was when I added text to be displayed on a certain slide. When I think of what digital storytelling could do in a classroom. I know that it will help the visual learners. And if we create one it will help the Kinetic learners. I could see a lot of positive things coming out of digital storytelling, but I would save the actual project for higher grades like 7-12. I don't think my kindergarten could do much with it. I find it very interesting that such sites are available. I know there are many times when I am doing research when I would like to not have to scroll through a bunch of useless sites to find ones that actuallly help me.
