Great idea of using the map and distance but yet letting them choose a course to follow in reaching the set goal.

Google Earth

Google earth is going to be tough to incorperate into a PE lesson. I would like to use the distance application. I will have the students zoom in over the town that we live in. I will have each student map out a course to run whichever direction they want as long as it equals 3 miles. I will have them use google earth and the distance application to do this. I could come up with some other creative ways to use it as well i am sure.
